A mother dies, a daughter cries.
A brother sighs, as a father tries.
The people cheer whom they love
Graduation commencement is in the air above.
Words of promise, and words of power,
Blessings and curses, all sweet and sour.
It starts to get crushing when people expect,
And they say, graduation was two years ago, nothing yet?
My friends are gone, my journey devoured.
The curse of poverty is now above us.
Where are those who came to stay?
Now I use, what I learned on commencement day.
“Every thing that is beautiful, is yours tonight” – unknown
